New info on the Devil May Cry Movie~

I love you Geekzkrieg.. TTATT I really do. Finally a bit of recent concrete information I can hold on to.

Okay, so here’s an update on the Devil May Cry movie I’ve been obsessing over for a quite a while–Oh. And happy new year by the way… xD I kinda forgot to update during x-mas and new years. But it’s no big deal. You still love me, right?–

Dante: No.. we don’t…

Anyway… Where was I? Oh! Right the movie. Okay, according to Geekzkreig the movies plot revolves around Dante (Duh. We can’t have newbie Nero hogging the spotlight already.) and here’s what has been revealed so far:

“Dante, son of the legendary Sparta, a devil lieutenant with a heart for humans who turned against the Devil Prince more than 2,000 years ago, and in doing so turned the Usurping Devil Prince’s evil dreams on their head.  He conquered the devil, trapping him, and then left his evil past and the Underworld, so as to live with humankind. He married a woman who bore a half-devil, half-man child, Dante.”

Hopefully some more info will be released soon…. I’m getting so frustrated with the fact that any info I find is either from a 2002-2003 article or a article on a fan-made film.

Okay, ranting time~ (I’m warning you~ This can be highly amusing or extremely annoying)

I wonder why Vergil isn’t ever included in anything anymore… I mean, look at the plot preview it says “a woman who bore a half-devil, half-man child, Dante.” It doesn’t say twins! D8 *Gaspers* VERGIL?! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!

Vergil: You don’t have to yell. I’m right next to you. D:<

Nauu! What I meant was why are you never mentioned anymore? It’s like after DMC3 they’re like “Okie-dokie. We’re done. We’ll just replace Vergil with Nero~”

Vergil: Wait a moment. I recall in an interview with Capcom they mentioned that I was still an important character in the games franchise.

Oh, that’s right. But why have you been on the DL lately? You’re fans aren’t very happy with your lack of presence.

Vergil: The longer the wait the better the reward, no?

Umm… Sure… >___> Whatever you say Vergil.

Let’s go on to a different subject on the movie. Like the casting~! 8D

Though the chances are slim I’m hoping they’ll do the movie based on DMC3 (Because that is when Dante and Vergil are at their youngest and sexiest. xD) So I went to look up twin actors and I found out that twin actors that are between the ages of 17-32 (something like that… xD;) are very rare.

So most of the time people will just cast people that look alike and hope the make-up (LMAO. Dante, Vergil and make-up. >:3) will hide that fact that they’re not actually twins. Ghheey. Well there’s always that thing with the same actor playing both people. It would’ve been cool though to have actual twins.. Well we can’t have it all. Besides, we’ll be lucky enough if the actor(s) will even look as sexy as Dante and Vergil.

And since I don’t care about the other characters I’ll stop here.
